Question I am looking for old corsets and girdles in New Zealand for an art project can anyone help out please?
We have a project running to understand the construction of corsets/girdles and the like and then turn them into art. Anyone in New Zealnd who has old stuff collecting dust in a draw ( or grannies draw) could you help out ? If so drop an email and we can chat. Thanks a lot.

What does the average corset maker make a year? Is the market big enough to take it up as a full time business? I love to make real corsets and was wondering about selling custom made ones.

How much you make obviously depends on how many you can make & sell and your profit margin. I expect corset makers make a modest but comfortable living. Expect sales to be low to start, as you learn more about proper pricing and advertising methods. As you develop a following, sales will increase.
