Question How do I pick the right size when ordering leather pants?
Calling all bikers! I've been wanting to order leather pants on-line. About a year ago, I did the whole process: measured myself, used the size chart, even called the company to make sure. Three returns later, I gave up and just sent the pants back. There's not a "leather goods" store near where I live; I know trying on the actual pants would be best. But, if anyone can offer some advice on how to successfully order leather pants on-line, I'd appreciate it.

Question What are the pros and cons of leather pants?
I'm tired of getting holes in my denim jeans after a month. Are leather pants any more durable? How do you wash them? Are they actually comfortable? I'm a blacksmith and I've been using the same leather apron for about 5 years and it still looks fairly new but my jeans look like I've had them 10 years and I've only had them a month or so. I know leather pants often look gay but I've never been one to care about that. If you think of a pro or con that I haven't mentioned I'm interested in hearing it!

Best Answer Yes, leather pants are very durable. I've got a five-pocket jean style I wear all the time - especially on weekends. You really want a tight fit when you first get them, otherwise you're going to be miserable. The pants are much heavier than denims, and if they don't fit snug you'll constantly pulling them up when you walk - or at a minimum pulling them up after sitting, either of which you don't want to be doing. The pants will stretch with each wearing and conform to your body. I find mine very comfortable and with each year they only seem to get better. I think they look great on guys when they pair them with a turtleneck shirt/sweater and nice boots. I wish saw more guys wearing them. Hope this helps, I think you'll love them.
