Question What sort of bra would one wear with a peasant top and underbust corset for a ren faire?
I'm wanting to go to a ren faire in the fall, and i have an underbust corset with a peasant top, but I don't know what sort of bra Im supposed to wear. Looking for at least a semblance of authenticity.

Best Answer If you want authenticity, go to the faire without a bra, as they were not used at the time. If you just want the bra not showing, choose one with no shoulder straps.

I am looking for a nice, high quality, steel boned, underbust corset. I would like it to be relatively fairly priced, nothing too pricey. I'm preferably looking for something pale pink and black, vertically striped, but I'll also go with just black or cream.

Best Answer I think you know exactly what a great corset is. Those that have steel bones are indeed the best. As you’ve said it, you want something that is made of high quality materials so just expect them to be a bit pricey. Anyway, the price justifies the corset and once you’ll wear them, you can instantly feel the difference.
